So I am off to Halifax on Thursday afternoon to grab my friend. Will be staying the night there in the city then going shopping the next day. I need new runners and some car parts and things for the house. Then across the bay to Dartmouth,where we will spend another night. Sat there is some event to do with my Friends school then we are off to a house party Sat evening. I am not to thrilled about leaving my car at the hotel and cabbing. For $80.00 I can get an indoor storage spot for the night that is pretty close by (helps being organized) Anyhow. I don't drink much as I get a bit rowdy and start slapping people out. But I thought... fuck... a guy can't go there empty handed to this big house party, or just go with a bottle of fucking wine. So I went to the LCO and got some liqueur. I still need to get some Bailys (sp?) and some of those fucking sparkly pops my friend likes to drink. I will also grab a 24 of Extra Old Extra Cold beer, but will wait till we are in transit in cab to stop and grab it cold from the beer store. Should I also grab ice? do you think there will be lots? or should I just grab a couple bags while I'm at beer store?
So here's what I got.
Three (3) jugs of Canadian Club Whiskey. The super expensive small batch, serialized bottles from the batch number. Ive had this stuff, super smooth and packs a nice punch.
One bottle of Tin Cup. This is an American whisky, I have not had it ever but it is seriously lighter than the Rye. I hope its also good. Should I keep the little metal cup off top at home and not take it or leave it?
One Bottle of Fortress Rum. Never had this stuff either although heard a lot about it. Made in some castle in Cape Breton.
TL;DR - I got some booze for a house party on Saturday in Dartmouth.
If I do not make it back here... you will know I got drunk and someone killed me. But I am going to wear really super nice clothes and try my hardest not to ruin them. Please wish me luck.
