8x these fucking things soon adds up, 4x rocker shafts as well plus P+P. I've got spare motors but the lousy bastards at Honda changed the head for the CV carb models, my spare motors just happen to be for the slide carbs that were used pre Nighthawk. David Silver Spares

The other problem I get is that SOHC 650 Nighthawks were only made in 1982 but they had very limited sales in the UK, they just weren't popular here so the secondhand parts market is just about non existent, most of the spares I buy are from the US and you can guess how cheap the postage isn't, especially after our wonderful Govt. add on Import Duties.......wankers!

I hear ya I try to not get stuff from the states for the same reasons. I imported a crate from Britain full of nsr parts and it cost me nearly the same amount of money just to load the crate on my trailer.

I'm curious wino, have you ever seen a SOHC 650 Nighthawk in Oz? I've never heard of an Ozzie owner on any of the SOHC CB650 forums that I go on and I've never seen any parts for sale from Oz on ebay.com. Were they ever sold in Australia?
