Tara Leigh Calico (born February 28, 1969)[1] is an American woman who disappeared near her home in Belen, New Mexico on September 20, 1988. She is widely believed to have been kidnapped. In July 1989, a Polaroid photo of an unidentified young woman and boy, both bound and gagged, was televised to the public after it was found in a convenience store parking lot. Family friends thought the woman resembled Calico and contacted her mother, who then met with investigators and examined the Polaroid. She believed it was her daughter after taking "time, growth and lack of makeup" into consideration, and noted that a scar on the woman's leg was identical to one that Calico had. Scotland Yard analyzed the photo and concluded that the woman was Calico, but a second analysis by the Los Alamos National Laboratory disagreed. An FBI analysis of the photo was inconclusive.

Well, fuck, kids, this is why you don't get boyfriends. Lol. I'm bad at jokes

Oh yeah, you do live in the backwoods don't you?
Well lol there is that :').. I'm just going to hope you don't make too many assumptions about me there o.o

I do agree with you though when it comes to inner city or even the average towns, every second of the day you're being recorded until you get back home :/ and well I suppose that has its perks in these situations. People do still get killed without a trace though, just.. very rarely. Killing indiscriminately would help, but being a "non person" probably plays it's part too. Yet I couldn't imagine getting away with anything serious these days in most places.

This picture was taken on a plane.
Not a doubt in my mind.
Both children are terribly frightened.
Not a doubt in my mind.
She is very scared, yet angry. Can see it in her eyes.
The boy, is overwhelmed with fear.
Doesn't look like a plane to me..reports were made that a white windowless Toyota Cargo Van was parked in the same parking space the polaroid were found..

Both the girl and the boy do look terrified..hopefully someday their families can have closure.

Ever heard of Bohemian Grove..?
That boy in the pic... do some fact checking.
Sounds similar to what may lead the conspiratorial minded into researching Epstein island.. not only Bohemians grove. Definitely going to have another look regarding the boy now you mention him.
But I have to agree with tehbitch.. looks an awful lot like a van to me, the panelled wall and door lock for sure. Plus the Polaroid and windowless van story is well known. Hard to tell if there's any curvature towards the roof in that pic, but definitely seems more akin to a van than a plane :/ (still it's a good rabbit hole to climb into for an hour or so aha)
