I was curious what Mark had up on his site (it had been a while since I went to bestgore.com to see what was up on the site). I found him the other day, and came across this story of his… I’m so curious what happened to Mark Marek, to make him like this:

when I was posting/stealing it, and finding first stuff for the the 3 sites I was contributing to and being a Mod one 2 sites, I could never get a foot in the door for that site. I tired to just fit in but it never was allowed. Cause he was a twat and still is one.

I once found a bee on a flower late at night outside in the garden so I held my hand next to him and he crawled on. I then went and lay on my bed watching TV with Bernie the bee on my finger relaxing. It must have been a couple of hours later when the sun had came up when bernie took off frommy finger and flew straight out the window. He did turn and wave to me then he must have went home. We had a good few hours together and I do think of him from time to time.

I guess he never did manage to sell BG; I remember that he was looking for something like six figures for that site. He didn't seem to be grounded in reality. I did enjoy the site though despite his inane commentary; just was not aware of Goregrish at the time. Wasn't my first gore site though. That was Rotten.com, and I have no idea who put that together.

You visit gore sites to watch gore, not hear someone rant or hear the owners opinion.
GG is different though, it's approachable, the people here are the only ones who've made me want to communicate / comment.
I've only ever been a lurker on the other sites.
