'YESSSS! Regulate Men Like They Do Women!': Millions Of People Are Saying Men Are Getting The Irony They Deserve After Seeing This Newly Proposed Bill That Would Ban Male Autonomy

The proposed bill — called the "Contraception Begins at Erection Act" — would fine men up to $10,000 for ejaculating.

Well, men of America, buckle up.

Mississippi
Sen. Bradford Blackmon has sponsored a bill called the “Contraception Begins at Erection Act.

The proposed legislation would prohibit a man from masturbating unless it is intended for procreation only.

That means if you want to masturbate in Mississippi, it better be within the confines of a fertility clinic to make a baby!

It also includes criminal charges for people who violate it. The bill proposes to make it
“unlawful for a person to discharge genetic material (sperm) without the intent to fertilize an embryo, effectively criminalizing certain male reproductive behaviors.”

Violators wouldn’t face jail time, only monetary penalties in the amount of $1,000 for the first offense, $5,000 for the second, and $10,000 for three or more offenses.

If you’re still in shock that this is an actual thing, here are the specific details:

“BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: SECTION 1.

(1) This section shall be known and may be cited as the ‘Contraception Begins at Erection Act.’

(2) It shall be unlawful for a person to discharge genetic material without the intent to fertilize an embryo.

(3) Upon conviction of a violation of this section, a person shall be fined:

(a) One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) for a first offense; (b) Five Thousand Dollars ($5000.00) for a second offense; and

(c) Ten Thousand Dollars (10,000.00) for a third or subsequent offense.

(4) This section shall not apply to the discharge of genetic material:

(a) Donated or sold to a facility for the purpose of future procedures to fertilize an embryo; and

(b) Discharged with the use of a contraceptive or contraceptive method intended to prevent fertilization of an embryo.”

And although everyone has been a bit taken aback after hearing this...

@chewbok , I hope you read this...

Rest assured, It's only a joke.

Quoting from the article:

"The whole thing is, of course, a joke. Although you are forgiven for believing it’s real given the current state of conservative mass hysteria. Senator Bradford Blackmon is a Democrat who, according to a press release he shared on Instagram, confirmed that the bill was written in response to the Republican obsession with policing what women can and cannot do with their bodies."

Wiggins knows I live in Mississippi. Blackmon is himself a fucking joke. No joke.

You have been here just over a month and posted just under 1,000 comments? Damn @Amata. Are you that bored or do you have an agenda?

So then what Vice says, and what it says under the other link, about the "satirical intent" are just journalistic lies.

Very well, You choose what you believe.

"Bored"? Hell no, GG is highly interesting.

The man is a fool. He did get national coverage for wasting the time and $$ of Mississippi taxpayers. He also reinforced the perception that people from Mississippi are idiots.

Good Job representing our state Mr Blackmon. You satire could have been shared with a one liner on X instead of writing and introducing a bogus bill.

I guess we can't shit or piss in Mississippi either? Goddamn.

I guess I oughta find me a woman to use as a toilet then.
