Most American schools have atleast one police resource officer minimally, & absolutely they charge kids who assault other kids or teachers, faculty, etc. but, the DOJ at every level doesn't necessarily punish them enough & they just return to school eventually & do the same again often. Recently, the Executive branch of the gov has tried to express the urgent need to lower the age of teen criminals to encompass 14 & up violent offenders to be prosecuted more harshly when sentenced because criminal factions have been exploiting them for far too many generations. They know the laws too. 🤷🏼♀️ They will undoubtedly just groom even younger kids to do the crimes though.
