ICE agent shoots and kills a Karen during the Minneapolis immigration crackdown

When someone uses deadly force, they are trained to end the threat. The application of deadly force continues until the threat is ended. That does not require them to shoot once, then stop and take a second, and then follow-up as is appropriate. They shoot until the threat is no longer a threat. Of course, there are many other considerations that must be made in a split second, such as what is behind the target, where is my target going and are others potentially at risk of death or great bodily harm, etc. The shots are evaluated independently of one another and judging the accuracy of the first shot may have little to no bearing on what follows. In the 1986 FBI Miami shooting, Michael Lee Platt continued to live, shoot at, and kill two FBI agents after being mortally wounded. The ICE agent only knows the car is still moving at him and the driver still posing a threat to him and potentially others.
What about the ice agent who just gave her the command to get out of the way and move the vehicle just before the video started? I also dont know of any training that suggests to run into the parh of a would be path of travel
Of a vehicle and prone out to shoot them. Typically its to stay out of harms way and take cover. This all Could of been avoided had either side taken different actions. Its shitty all around for both sides

I just watched Vance says that there will be no punishment for ICE

I heard them tell her twice to get out of the car, but I did not hear them say to move the vehicle. Even if they did say that, are you suggesting that she was just following that order? If so, I don't think that is a reasonable excuse for putting her car into gear and moving it forward, especially after being given an order to get out of the car. You don't drive a car at any speed towards a law enforcement officer after being told to exit the vehicle. That is just going to be a very bad day.

Their training is to use cover and/or concealment when available if the circumstances suggest or permit it. However, I really don't think he was consciously trying to put himself in harms way. I do think he positioned himself in front of her as a means of saying,"hey, I am here in front of you and you are not free to leave." I neither saw nor heard anything to suggest that she would put her car in gear and try to move forward until she actually started doing it. Shit happened fast then and he was actually hit. Could he gotten out of the way in time to avoid being hit had he been very quick and that been his sole focus rather than trying to stop her? There's no way to know for sure.

Could law enforcement have done things differently and had a different result? Absolutely. That said, hindsight is always 20-20 and it's not a perfect world. The end result does not raise the shooter's actions to a level of criminality. IMO--and it's just that, my opinion--his actions were lawful. Were they necessary? I think that's a tougher question that nobody has the answer to.

You fags weren't saying that when ice was operating during Obama's administration. Fuck you and your selective outrage.

Great idea ! Ive heard recently that startbucks, walmarts, McDonald’s, and 7-11s are closing. Less buyers and more shoplifters. Pieces of shit are collapsing franchise giants. Kinda hard to steal a cheese burger or coffee i guess. 😆
The system is broken and the 1 guy trying to fix it is witch hunted. Sad !

why is this even open for debate? who here questions that challenging armed agents in an aggressive way with intent to flee /harm said agents is foolish and suicidal? let's not forget the same ones whining over this twat being taken out were full on celebrating when some chimp fired thru a closed door killing an unarmed protester. Tampon Tim Waltz is openly advocating for armed civil war and sedition. Here's the chance to act swiftly and decisively and shut this shit down now! I guess she fucked around and "leared" the hard way.

The Anarchist Liberals actually want situations like this - to push some
sort of Civil Unrest situation. Rules for Radicals, is their Handbook/Bible.
They plan to push & push, until something breaks, then they will provide
their Problem/Reaction/Solution.

This is what their "Don't Follow Illegal Orders" talking points is all about.
It’s not a talking points it’s the law. If you’re ordered to do something that violates the law, like shoot or arrest people because they are democrats or something you have a duty to disobey your superior officer. I like that because I don’t want to live in a fucking dictatorship or fascist state

I'm not gonna shed any tears for franchise giants, they destroyed just about every single mom 'n pop shop in this country. Regular people just trying to live the American dream and then billion-dollar corporations sweep through their town or city and use ruthless methods to eliminate them. 90% of all hotels and convenience stores in the US are owned by Indians. (RedDot not Feather, lol)

I saw one small family-owned convenience store literally isolated and destroyed. Wal-Mart bought every piece of property around their store and dragged out the construction and made the area nearly impossible to navigate. It was horrible to see that. 75 years in the same spot and pushed out by corporate greed. Nope, no sympathy for those franchise giants at all.

Ima get my Ar and ambush some ice its gonna be fun watching the all choke on their blood when i light em up. Easy targets
Dumbass, you know there are Feds lurking around here, right? You'll probably be getting a visit soon. They'll kick down your door and find you unarmed sitting on the floor playing Nintendo in your pissy Spider-Man pajamas.
