    FYI UK television licences

    I'm in the UK at present, fly home to Aus tomorrow. I knew that if you have a TV you have to have a licence here so looked it up. Fuck me! It's 170 pounds a year for a colour set and 57 pounds for a black and white set. But wait, if you are legally blind it's half price... I have no idea why...
