A third vehicle reportedly cut off a minibus, on the Odesa-Melitopol-Novoazovsk highway, which then crashed into an oncoming transport truck. Twelve occupants of the minibus were killed.
The driver of the other vehicle, which fled the scene, was later apprehended and arrested.
