Let It All Bleed Out
This is a flashback to when the Islamic State of Iraq, an al Qaeda-affiliated group, were still constantly making their presence known by blowing things up and ensuring that civilians were being killed.

Warning: image of dead infant.

"BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Fifty-two hostages and police were killed when an attempt by Iraqi security forces to free more than 100 Catholics held in a Baghdad church by al Qaeda-linked gunmen turned into a bloodbath.

At least one bomb exploded at the start of the siege. Sporadic gunfire rang out for several hours over the Karrada neighborhood near the heavily fortified Green Zone district where many embassies and government offices are located.

The Islamic State of Iraq, an al Qaeda-affiliated group which claimed responsibility, also threatened the Christian church in Egypt over its treatment of women.

“The attackers were among children, armed with weapons,” a federal police said of Sunday’s rescue effort. “Most of the casualties were killed or wounded when the security forces raided the place.”

Officials say some of the attackers blew up explosives vests or threw grenades during the raid. Security sources said many of the victims died in gunfights between police and insurgents."

Chemical Burgers

Why are we still here? Just to suffer?
Probably an unpopular opinion but I feel bad for these people. Yeah they're towel heads or whatever but they were there to pray and commune with God. They were seeking peace in a part of the world that rarely sees it and for that they were deemed worthy of death. People make me sick.

Nice find

I've been to that church (not to pray obviously ) . The place was just surrounded by Hesco barriers and had armed security as well . Well a few blokes with AK's sitting on plastic chairs . The place was always getting attacked . If you go up North to Erbil there are churches all over the place , they just get on with it .
