Police are trained to do that, because believe it or not, there have been instances when a person has been shot multiple times and still continues to fight….. especially drugged up/mentally ill fucks. Just like when they cuff an apparently deceased person, the trainings all result from studying incidents that have happened in the past. I went through a police academy years ago, and learned what the average civilian Doesn’t understand, giving verbal commands is also done for witnesses/legality reasons.

I’m not going to deny that, there are definitely ones who shouldn’t be a cop, and it seems the more anti cop people are, the less good people apply. There are also cops that are trying to stop crime and degeneracy though, and have literally given their lives to save others. 🤷
