A 21-year-old man lost three fingers on his right hand after handling gunpowder during a birthday celebration in the municipality of Sabanagrande, Atlántico .
The case was recorded this Sunday, December 18, around 1:30 in the morning, when the young man, identified as Isidro Andrés Rojas Ariza , turned on a flyer.
The video captured the moment in which Rojas throws the flyer and seconds later an artifact explodes in his right hand.
He was immediately taken to the Sabanagrande Hospital and there the doctors confirmed that he had suffered third degree burns .
The young man assured the health center that in the middle of the celebration for his grandmother's birthday he decided to light a flyer, but the spark that it produces activated a tote that he had in his hand and this was the one that caused the amputation of three of his fingers .
Due to the seriousness of the injuries, Isidro Rojas Ariza was referred to a clinic in Barranquilla, where he is being treated.
