A Black truck driver says he was attacked by a group of white construction workers at a landfill in North Carolina.

In a now-viral TikTok video, the driver, who identified as @noturningback_98 on TikTok, detailed his encounter with a white mob while he was delivering mulch to Two Banks Development Landfill near Clyde, North Carolina last month.

The driver said the confrontation unfolded when he arrived at the landfill at roughly 6:30 a.m. While at the landfill, the owner's son accused him of stealing a phone and brought a group of men, one of whom was armed, to search his truck. The group failed to find anything during their search, but later confronted the driver at the top of the landfill while he was dumping mulch.

Video shows a white mob surrounding the driver's truck, yelling threats, and slamming the vehicle's door on his dog, Coco. One man who was wearing a “Wright Brothers Construction” hard hat identified himself as a sheriff but had no badge.

“The sheriff’s department is coming to get rid of you and your f**king mutt, so stay in your truck before something bad happens,” one of the men said.

But what's not seen in the videos — and what led up to the irate, yelling by landfill workers — paints a far different picture.

A truck driver carrying a gun had gone rogue within the landfill, according to other sources. The driver was running around out of his truck threatening workers and tried to hijack the truck of a female driver.

When asked to respond related to this incident, the landfill owner provided a written statement:

"A third-party contracted truck driver violated site policies and engaged in aggressive behavior on site. The video being circulated omits critical elements of the incident," according to the statement issued by TBD Landfill.

No,.I have family in Philly. But I'm from Williamsport. It's claim to fame:

Lumber, millionaires, and Little League.

Harrisburgh, while not necessarily "dirty," IS an ugly town. Not the most pleasant-looking skyline in the world, though it does have a really nice State House, and parks. Front Street along the river is kind of pleasant.

No. You wanna see some REALLY nice Pennsylvania towns?

Go to Wellsboro, especially during Christmas. The PA Grand canyon is nearby for summer excursions, and it's does itself up really nicely for Christmas.

Muncy, near Williamsport, is also a pleasant little town. Loyalsock, and State College (PSU campus there), and Lewisburgh (Bucknell University). Gettysburg, and Royersford are also really nice pleasant towns.

The Pittsburgh Pirates stadium is often cited as one of the most beautiful stadiums in the country, with its picture-perfect views of the city skyline. Pittsburgh itself has REALLY transformed itself into an upscale city, very well-maintained, and clean.

Rickett's Glenn is one of the best state parks in the country. Cherry Springs is one of only 5 designated "dark spots" for star gazing and astronomy. Next time you come through this state, try to check some of those places out. PA is NOT an urbanized state, despite 70% of the total population living in and near Philly. Over 75% of the state is completely covered over in huge green forests (in summer), and flaming in fall. Pretty much the entire East Coast is that way.

Which is why the current right wing caricature of the blue and coastal states is just.... So fucking laughable and sad....

Penna is a great State, although several people i know moved there from NY just to save money, so it's obviously a poorer State.

We drove thru it on our trip to Johnson City...i think half the Bronx lives here now. I remember full-page ads in the 80s and 90s each week in the newspapers advertising "why pay rent in the Bronx when you can own your own home in PA"? He may need to brush-up on his Spanish, though.
