No kidding. Especially when dispatchers will have someone to send when you say, "Nevermind, found my gun, you can hang up now." From no one's available, to 20 cop cars coming to your location instantly.

I live in BC Canada and called 911 when a friend got crushed at work. It took 30 minutes for an ambulance to arrive. The 911 operator was in a city over 100 mikes away. The patient was going to die regardless due to the severity of his injuries but it was still insane trying to explain where we were.
