Love Doug Murray, if you don't know him have a look at a few of his youtubes . That fact Douglas is a gay man helps his arguments in this book and strangely enough also his chapter on women. His insights are simple and interesting. But the one part that sets the book aflame is the chapter on 'trans'- this really is madness on an epic scale.

Just bought the two last parts of Brandon Sanderson's 'stormlight anthology' how it's called here. Really not bad but it reads absolutely like a concept for a fantasy video game. The huge magical swords, the fast healing, ability to fly and so on.
And I like the fact that there are no kids as 'heroes' or main characters like in the 'Game of Thrones' books and many other books nowadays.

Agreed, they do come across like video games. I like how they're different to most other fantasy books I read, except, they're too bloody long! The first three, the one's published here at least, are about 1300 pages long, or you can pay twice the money, and get the split versions.

Six books with 750 pages each for me. But the number of epub pages depends on the resolution and font size of your reading item, so I don't know exactly how many a printed version has. And I'm using a slightly larger font, so the number gets automatically higher a bit.
I like long stories, if not stretched too much only to gain more income or so.

I love long books too, but I found these books were a bit padded. Still very good, but he could have achieved the same result by stripping 300 pages, imo.
