Scott Putesky aka Daisy Berkowitz lost his battle with colon cancer and passed at age 49.

Yet another musician that was a big part of my high school experience. Will never forget hanging out with my group; a bottle of cheap ass wine (lifted from some parents cabinet) being passed around while Portrait of an American Family and Smells Like Children played.

Thanks for creating such groundbreaking music at a time it was well needed.
RIP Berkowitz.
Your legacy has inspired other musicians and countless fans.

He seemed like a really nice dude. I used to watch his TRack race and we talked bit on Facebook and he was just very cool, not at all a douche or full of himself. Too bad it wasn't Marilyn Manson instead.
