I love reading awful MIL stories to be quite honest. Reddit has gone downhill these days with the amount of subreddits like r/JustNoMIL and others being posted as screenshots/videos on other websites for internet bonus points, so there's a lot of people that go there now to post wildly made-up stories designed to make you angry since 'throwaway' accounts are part of Reddit culture. So you never know what one you're reading is maybe made up, but since the real world can be so weird, I just pretend they're all probably real anyways. There are insane people out there. Like the woman who knew her infant granddaughter was allergic to coconut oil but would put it in her hair anyways against the mother's wishes and the baby ended up dying.
