The US deports people to other countries, and so it looks to me like this would be world news. World news doesn't necessarily mean that it's something that affects the entire world, as not m any things do.

Dude probably ran over more immigrants while asleep at the wheel a day than trump did in a month up until recently (he had like double deportations a month than trump up until VERY recently, and if i recall the numbers right, still deported more a day, but im not positive on that one.)
