Funny DIY Piano Transport

They can be fuckers of things to transport. I had to move one about three blocks (not far I thought!) I reckon this sort of thing must be pretty common because after spending far too long trying to figure out how to get it on a trailer etc we just decided to put a rope on it and tow it. I cannot describe the hilarity of how it sounded as it wobbled along, you could hear it from miles away and it actually made indents into the road it was so heavy and the little brass wheels disintegrated so it was basically sliding on the solid iron frame underneath :lulz: I would never do it with a valuable one but someone was getting rid of an old Honky tonk piece of crap and I wanted it to play with LOL.

What were they thinking?🤣
Have you ever tried to move one of those things? They are unbelievably heavy. I helped a friend's grandma move one time and she had an upright piano. Myself and like 5 or 6 other men had all we wanted lifting it into the back of the pickup. And getting it out was no picnic either
