Saw a video not long ago where they charge tourists money (can't remember what country, maybe Thailand?) to climb up on an elephant, it's kept basically chained to a tether and only goes around in circles all it's life. I can't imagine how appealing that is (isn't) to want to do that. Strangely they also chained monkeys to it kind of like a weird animal performance. All the monkeys were kept in bird cage sized prisons. No wonder the fuckers lose their shit now and then!
