I'm surprised the cat didn't kill it. Pound for pound cats are very strong animals.

I remember our old siamese cat when I was a kid in Melbourne. We saw this German shot haired pointer come running down the drive and tangle with the cat. Heard this terrible noise, half cat half dog, and then the dog when thundering and shrieking bad up the drive.

The cat had raked her claws right over the dogs very stick out balls. Dog never came back, cat sat there calmly grooming her self...
