Lunch. Whatever kind of fish that is, it's huge. There's a fresh water pond on the property. They're working on getting a camera up and running so we can see them catch their meals.

This is Mom, waiting on Dad.

I thought the egg was finally disposed of but nope, little bit is sitting on it. Dad's home...

He rearranges the little bowl the babe sits in. Wants it different than she does I guess.

And caught them both on the nest. Yeah for me, lol.

Almost caught her in flight....

Mom flew off, is sitting on an upper branch now. Too dark for camera # two. So hard to see her.

Dad is sitting on the short branch, just to the left of the brightest area of the nest. The light is just catching the white of his head.

Must be an owl flying about, or a critter of some sort, snake maybe. The three of them are wide awake, unusual for 2:30/3:00 a.m.

Noticed that they've brought in new bedding(pine needles) and Dad has been housekeeping. Fish bits and parts have been tossed or buried.

And Little Bit is on the move. Scooting all over the place.

Dad says, that'll do. Now be still, lol.

Why is the haliaeetus leucocephalus called 'Bald Eagle' ? It isn't bald, has feathers on his head.
