ATLANTA – Six Georgia firefighters have been reprimanded after one of their colleagues used a cell phone to record a gruesome video showing the severe injuries of a woman killed in a car crash.
The video circulated outside the fire department and was eventually sent to the victim's parents.
Spalding County authorities said Wednesday that written reprimands were given to two supervisors and three firefighters and a verbal reprimand was given to another firefighter.
County officials have already decided to fire firefighter Terrence Reid for taking the video, but his lawyer has promised to appeal.
