time for a bass.
my 92 fender jazz bass
3 colour sunburst
rosewood board
seymour Duncan 1/4 pounder pickups
was my main stage bass I have put so many hours of my life into this thing it’s literally a part of me.

My wife has threatened my life if I buy another guitar. I'm planning on calling her bluff this weekend.
Yeah getting one past the wife ain’t easy. Try the old “ take an empty case with you” trick and when u get home with another one it not so obvious 😂

I can't play an instrument but the guitars here look nice. Definitely an instrument for men but I have other interests.
Tons of impressive female axe slingers out there. Guitars don’t discriminate 😄

ESP-LTD EC-401 with EMG's. Not really my favorite.

Agile septor 828 with Seymour Duncan Blackouts.

I have many more but these are probably the two that get used the most, as of recently anyways.

I have many more, basses too. Love seeing all the guitars in here.

One of mercyful fates guitarists used a single coil for a while. Plenty of doom guitarists use single coils. You just have to know what you're doing.

Jerry Cantrell using a single coil, his pick up selector is switched to the single coil, suppose you're gonna tell me he sounds shit as well?
That agile is a beast. 😍😍😍

I've been playing for 25 years but am not a collector, I only own one guitar, a 1997 SRV Fender Strat. The most guitars I've ever owned at one time is two lol, I just don't see the point in having a bunch of guitars, I much prefer to just get very comfortable with one or two. It's not much to look at, kinda beat up, but it sounds and plays pretty amazing. I don't even have any pictures I'll update in a sec with some

Those strats are killer. Love srv his passion , tone and improvisation skills were incredible. Do you have it strung up with finger killer 13.s ?

nice Guitars man. The longhorn is cool not many being gigged I’d wager. Love the v. Lots of mini toggles mean lots of tonal choices Obviously.
dirty fingers in the bridge of the v. Sweet pickups. What is that neck pickup ?
It's a Tony Iommi pick up of some kind....I can't remember the exact model name...

The only person who could make a single coil in the bridge Strat sound decent was Stevie. I just think they sound like ass.
I've been on a stevie ray kick recently.....I never appreciated his talent back then... I was young and Slayer were the kings in my eyes.....
Recently I've been exploring some Deep Purple.... Stevie Ray.... Angus Young.... Those cats could really work those blues licks....

Yeah I revisit Stevie regularly. There is a vid of him and Albert king jamming in the studio. It’s amazing I put that on and play along least once a month to keep the blues chops up.

Might as well keep this going, how are we off for pedalboards and or pedals.
let’s see em
ill start
its noisy but it’s fun.
