according to this article, the co-driver survived the accident:

Roma, rom muore sulla supercar: tragedia sul Raccordo. Vittima un 22enne

(just used deepl for translation)

Rome, Roma dies in supercar: tragedy on the Raccordo. Victim a 22-year-old man

Orsus Brischetto, driving the Audi R8, lost his life. With him also a young man in his 20s and a pregnant girl: both injured

A high-speed race ended against the guardrail. No hypothesis has been ruled out yet: not even that the 570-horsepower bolide was rammed by a second car that then fled. The investigation into Monday night's fatal accident on the Gra, at the height of the Circonvallazione Orientale a handful of meters from the Casilina est service area, is still ongoing. The cockpit of the Audi R8 became a death trap for Orsus Brischetto, a 22-year-old of Roma origin and resident of Aprilia.

THE RESCUES.

The young man was rescued and transported to Tor Vergata Polyclinic in very serious condition and died shortly after arrival. He was behind the wheel, while next to him sat Nicholas Calì, 20, of Roma descent and also a resident of Aprilia. He sustained serious injuries in the crash; transported to the Casilino Polyclinic emergency room, he is not in life-threatening condition. Together with the two boys, there was a young pregnant woman who was transported to Policlinico Umberto I in yellow code: after being medicated, she was discharged and taken home.

THE INVESTIGATIONS.

The first alarm along the Gra was triggered at 11:50 p.m. Relatives of the boys immediately arrived on the scene. The case is now being investigated by traffic police officers. Police officers proceeded with the asphalt survey and proceeded with the acquisition of images from the gas station's video surveillance cameras. It will be crucial for investigators to ascertain whether the three boys were alone when Brischetto lost driving control. From initial findings, there was no witness ahead of the large car at the time of the dramatic accident. However, the car was impounded to determine, in the meantime, how fast it was proceeding. Further investigation will also be carried out on Brischetto's cell phone: in fact, it is not excluded that he may have been distracted while driving and that because of this, he lost control of the bolide. Finally, in the coming hours his friend Calì and the girl will also be heard: at the moment the only witnesses who can help investigators reconstruct the moments leading up to the fatal crash.

Investigators from the Mobile Squad and men from the Casilino district were also informed of what happened. Brischetto and Calì are in fact surnames that have in the past ended up in the crosshairs of the Gico ( Organized Crime Investigation Groups) section of the Finance Guard. Between 2010 and 2013, investigators had reconstructed the dense network of connections between drug trafficking directed by the Camorra Schiavone-Noviello clan with other convicts linked to the Calabrian gangs. Among the middlemen who supplied the drug markets in the southern quadrant of the capital with cocaine and hashish were also some members of the Brischetto family. The Calì clan is also inextricably linked to the Roman narcotics trade. Their family had made pacts and agreements with the Senese clan according to findings in 2019 by the Dda, District Anti-Mafia Directorate.
