Apparently 9 of his films are considered part of the “Magic Lantern Cycle”. The three I’m linking are part of it but I’ve also heard these three called the “Magic Lantern Trilogy”, these are some of his earliest and best known films as well. People who love surrealism (as I do) or are into underground and experimental film will dig this. Also he was based in San Fransisco when he made the last two of these films and so for someone who is from and loves Northern California Bay Area culture, again this applies to me, it’s important in that way too (for the first one he was in Southern California). I’m new to this man and his films, discovered him through learning about the occult and Satanism in America, so I’m fairly ignorant as well.
1st: Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome
Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome (Short 1954) ⭐ 7.0 | Short, Fantasy, Horror

Invocation of My Demon Brother (Short 1969) ⭐ 6.5 | Short, Horror
3rd: Lucifer Rising
Lucifer Rising (Short 1972) ⭐ 7.1 | Animation, Short, Fantasy
