Little Miss X (or the Grand Canyon Jane Doe) was discovered near the Grand Canyon on October 31st, 1958. Since then, her death has been very popular among the morbid media and online crime solvers, most likely due to a lack of information and general curiosity amongst the mystery of her death. Her body was found unclothed, and apparently in a state of decomposition for 9-19 months before being found. Immediately, the police marked the case as a homicide. Clothes, a comb and miscellaneous items were found near the body, but were later discovered to have possibly belonged to another victim.

"Complicating the investigation, clothes were found near the body a short time after Little Miss X’s body was discovered. There was also a comb and a nail file case. The clothes did not appear to fit and the nail file case could have belonged to a young woman who went missing the same year out of Southern California named Donis “Pinky” Redman. Redman was eventually excluded. She was 15 and didn't match the physical characteristics of Little Miss X. The car of her boyfriend, Michael Griffin, was found abandoned in Williams."

Sadly, this case has continued to go cold due to lack of information and the unknown burial location of the body since exhumation in the 1960's. This case has been cold for 62 years.
