tech Looking for info to upgrade computer

Does anyone use any specific sites besides YouTube for upgrading their computer? I built my first computer when I was 13, found random parts at garage sales and put it all together and everything but I also spent 8 years of my adult life in the Military and totally just brain dumped everything about tech. I have a pretty nice PC as well as a MacBook, but I just want to build a powerful PC. Something I can game, render videos and honestly just do everything. If anyone has examples or can point me in the right direction to gain this knowledge, please hook me up. I enjoy YouTube, but sometimes it seems like everything is literally for views and don’t want to risk it. Thanks for any advice, help etc.

on newegg you can have a "pc part wishlist" so you can get a general idea of how much youre spending & how good the specs are.
or you could just buy a prebuilt on amazon if you're lazy
