Migrant charged in Syracuse murder carried corpse right past cops and got away with it

The migrant charged with murdering a young woman on her birthday in Syracuse was caught on video carrying her lifeless body — right in front of a passing police cruiser, the harrowing clip shows.

Surveillance footage shows the moment murder suspect Jhon Moises Chacaguasay-Ilbis went into the Airbnb with still-alive Joselyn Jhoana Toaquiza, 21, on June 18. Chacaguasay-Ilbis, an Ecuadorian national who entered the US illegally, then leaves the home with a limp Toaquiza draped across his back.

Just as he approaches the street, a Syracuse Police Department patrol car drives by — without appearing to notice the horrifying situation, the video shows.

Syracuse police confirmed that the car shown in the video was one of their own, but declined to comment further.

The 21-year-old murder suspect turned himself in last week and appeared in Syracuse City Court on Thursday where he claimed to have no recollection of the alleged killing because he was too drunk.

Officials say the undocumented immigrant went into the Airbnb with Toaquiza, who is also from Ecuador, just before 4:30 p.m. and suffocated her on her birthday.

He then dumped her body in a shallow grave at a nearby park hours later, the Post-Standard reported.

He then fled on a Greyhound bus back to his residence in Rockland County’s Spring Valley, according to police.

Chacaguasay-Ilbis has been charged with second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse.

He was reported to have entered the US illegally in January 2023, but although initially detained, he was released into the US because there wasn’t any space to hold him.

Toaquiza also entered the US illegally in 2023, crossing the border into Lukeville, Arizona, Homeland Security sources told The Post.

She told Border Patrol officials that she feared returning to Ecuador because she was being threatened by a past romantic partner.

It remains unclear if that previous partner was Chacaguasay-Ilbis. The two were believed to have gone to school together in Ecuador.

All I can find is a blurred video if anyone can find it not blurred you can post it here please

Requests for sanctuary from another country because you have a psycho (ex?) who you're trying to evade no longer seems like a valid reason to allow it... lest the USA be accused of using the GFs as bait. 😳😬 It rarely seems to work out for the GFs.

To be honest it does not look like he is carrying a dead body and the cruiser is passing fast
Yeah that's a little small for a grown woman's size

This guy is the reason that our nation is at risk.. stubby little cocksucker would get a grenade stuck in his ass if I was nearby.. and yes, I would pull the pin, run, then watch the fun begin!
