A shooting was under investigation late Saturday night at the Belton Lake Recreation Area on post at Fort Hood, Texas.
Video obtained by KWTX shows military police officers attempting to break up a large fight when multiple rounds were fired.
People are seen running away, and someone off camera can be heard yelling, "They shot him! Oh my God! They shot him!"
A military police officer is seen running after people fleeing into a parking lot area and then firing several rounds at an individual. It's unclear if the individual is struck by the gunfire.
Cars with loud engines are also heard roaring away from the scene.
A Fort Hood official told KWTX, "We're aware of the incident at the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area. Emergency responders have responded to the scene. Investigations are underway."
"Law enforcement officials have confirmed there's no active threat at this time," the official on post further said.
KWTX is receiving reports of multiple injured individuals arriving at a Temple area hospital. We are working to confirm if those arriving for medical treatment were wounded in the shooting at Belton Lake.
