The body of a Russian pilot was found on the coast of the Kyiv reservoir, he probably died a year ago. Workers of the Kyiv hydroelectric power station got it, - the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Law enforcement officers managed to establish that the deceased is a Russian soldier. This is evidenced by the shape and chest chevron. A note from the pilot of the Mi-24 helicopter was also found.

According to the inscription on the chevron, the deceased is Senior Lieutenant R. G. Mankishev, commander of the helicopter squadron.

I wonder if he was among the wave of choppers that landed troops at Hostomel airport, after crossing the Dniper from Belarus. I think atleast 3 troop carriers were shot down and a few have been recovered from the same reservoir (one with the crew still in their seats).

ARSELING
Wondering the same; at least they can't eject so far I know.
Or do they have an enhanced version meanwhile?

Don't know if you can jump from the passenger seats in the transport compartment.
