On June 16, 2025, a man was detained by university students in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, after they caught him filming an upskirt video using a paper bag to hide his phone.

Students reportedly discovered around 500 GB of voyeuristic videos on his phone.

He's currently detained and the case is under investigation.
