Sony working to make Blu-ray obsolete

I've never owned (or rented) any Blue Ray media and aside from what was included with a PC have never owned a Blue Ray player.

I had >1000 DVD's but sold them about 15 years ago and haven't missed them.....anything I owned that was rare (mostly some documentaries) I burned to HDD but most is easily found as a torrent. I did the same with CD's.

Only have a handful of hardcopy items for sentimental reasons, other than that all on NAS drive or in the cloud. Physical media sucks donkey cock.
