Expected to be impressed.
The incredible and amazing Chinese artist Liu Bolin paints his entire body to exactly match the scenery behind him. He is camouflaged so well it is sometimes almost impossible to spot him. His latest exhibition, Hiding in the City, at the Eli Klein Fine Art gallery in New York, shows him melting into various urban backdrops, including a picture of a variety of mobile phones.
After getting painted by his team, the 40-year-old spends up to 10 hours at a time posing in order to get the photographs inch perfect.
Liu Bolin was born in China’s Shandong province in 1973. His work has been exhibited in museums around the world. Also known as "The Invisible Man", Bolin's most popular works are from his "Hiding in the City" series; photographic works that began as performance art in 2005.
