i've done it, they freeze like you just grabbed them by their balls

no a vet was doing veterinarian stuff to a horse with a newborn baby, and i was handling her...
this horse tried to kick the vet, he had to finish what he was doing without getting killed, so when she reared up on her hind legs i eared her and she froze
anyway she was going to attack someone else while i was handling her, not me
in fact, call @Rick James cuz that mare had a PROLAPSED uterus

If you grab a dogs muzzle and push a couple a fingers into the roof of its mouth, it cannot bite you

I’ve seen where they bite down on the horse’s ear to calm it, same idea?
