Those 2 female cops went down in a hail of bullets and a grenade to spice things up. But why did the killer call in a 'domestic robbery' report (which in Britain doesn't require the response of armed police) while he was actually laying a trap and setting up to ambush whatever cops showed up - doesn't make sense.

He had already killed two (a father and son) so why ambush a few cops? Then the bloke turns himself in and so far hasn't said why he did it.

And it's shocking to see how much the reporter seemed really sad about this, or frightened or in shock. In the USA, two officers killed is just another story.

It's a different ballpark here in the UK in terms of gun crime and really rare for two cops, especially women to get killed, a grenade was also used in this attack!

These are the first women cops to be killed by gunshot in 20 years or more........

That asshole is a wanted man, there must be a bounty on his head so he was on borrowed time, so made sense to kill a couple of cops so he can live out his days in a secure unit watching cable tv and posting on GG (wait out for a new fucked in the head member)

As for cops here in UK being armed, the basic bobby on the beat has pepper spray, baton and perhaps a tazer, every police station has specialist armed officers on standby. In the main cities the armed units and maybe riot cops patrol in their specialist vehicles.

Airports have armed officers, not sure about the ports or other borders, maybe the channel tunnel has them because of the influx of illegal immegrants?

UK is generally a safe place to live and bring up your kids, Florida etc is for holidays, keep your guns and tornados
