Utter bastard
Back in the 80s i was told about 'Snuff' movies where people were killed on camera, i was intrigued and started trying to track one down.. but no one had access to one despite many people saying they had seen one ( and each of these people gave a different situation and cause of death to the victim ) Fast forward to reading Bizarre magazine and then getting a computer and going online and searching for Bud Dywer suicide.. BINGO! then i find Rotten.com, Ogrish and then Kazaa. The 'Snuff' movies remain illusive but i found something much better.. reality!

Share why you either enjoy or view gore and what influenced you.

I watch gore because I need to man up after accidentally clicked on one of those Thai's melancholic (S)adverts that plague my Facebook newsfeed. Apparently, I added too many girl and girly friends.

Dad was a real early adopter of the Internet, always up on the latest tech. He'd scrounge for neat shit to torrent - movies, games, porn, whatever - and I'd get the trickle down. So one day he calls me into his study and he sets me down and talks to me all about how fucked up the world is, how people are animals that'd tear me apart for the fun of it, and then he shows me the Dagestan beheading video. This was about '00 or '01 I think.

Didn't have the heart to tell him I'd already been visiting pages like Rotten for a couple years, since I often broke into his study when he wasn't around and I'd snoop through his favorites. Still, I internalized the lesson he was trying to teach me.
