What made you view gore? (3 Viewers)

Older cousins used to show it to me when i was 4 or 5, then i started to develop a fascination with serial killers and everything that's grotesque and violent, so it was natural for me to end up looking for gore. And the reason i still watch it it's simple, i enjoy it.

My dad introduced me to faces of death. Was 5 or 6. Rest his soul.

Then My aunt showed me deathanddecay.com and I’ve been hooked ever since that was when I was 13 or 14. So early to mid 90’s. I’m always looking fer crime scene photos and or videos. I don’t ever have any luck finding what I’m looking fer.

Dad was a real early adopter of the Internet, always up on the latest tech. He'd scrounge for neat shit to torrent - movies, games, porn, whatever - and I'd get the trickle down. So one day he calls me into his study and he sets me down and talks to me all about how fucked up the world is, how people are animals that'd tear me apart for the fun of it, and then he shows me the Dagestan beheading video. This was about '00 or '01 I think.

Didn't have the heart to tell him I'd already been visiting pages like Rotten for a couple years, since I often broke into his study when he wasn't around and I'd snoop through his favorites. Still, I internalized the lesson he was trying to teach me.

My mom showed me rotten.com when I was like 12, not intentionally but she didn't care, I'm level headed and the oldest kid so I could get away with it. Living in Tijuana for 2 years really peaked my curiosity though, seeking out the shit that was going on around me when I lived there was a shock. First video was chainsaw beheading.

new and creative ways for killing people. to be more elusive from authorities as well.

The usual way watch violent films and video games didnt do it for me anymore started watching cartel murders and torture and suicide just does it,

Just like most of us it started with faces of death as a kid then as I got older and the internet became more accessible I found rotten.com and then I joined the marine corps and got to not only cause gore but witness it personally.???

She twists the blade; He feels it.
Always have been intrigued by death. Its interesting and sort of comforting to see the guts and muscle of a human too.

Almost Human

Real men don't wear pink, they eat it.
Because that stuff is part of our lives, and the allmighty media do not show us the ugly and sad truth.

Ya know , I'm not sure. I was always just fascinated with death and with death comes dying . So I guess I was just pulled into exploring the many vehicles of death.

And I really identify more with the dead than I do the living.

I am law student and I've already chosen my work area: Criminals. So, I see gore to get used with it and the cruel reality of dead bodies, tortures, deep wounds and so on.
And, of course, I am Jason Voorhees fan.

It's in the struggle when you make best progress.
What made me seek gore were the people that watch it... I want to at least know that I can do something to make them happier (the viewers) and help them feel better and try to avoid some of what you can see here in this site...
