I am so neurotic that I blame myself, but it was probably the fault of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.

A chase gives the cops a woody! You all know that! Just get the plate number and catch the guy later. No! they have to get their rocks off by going 100 mph and killing someone who gets in the way. It’s their MO!

The thing is the cops always want the "collar". Reminds me of the movie Serpico. Two cops were trapped behind a dumpster with the bad guy shooting at them. Serpico goes around and gets him. Then the cops ask Serpico, "Can we have the collar?" Reluctantly Serpico let's them make the arrest.

Neither had their flashing lights or sirens on at the time of impact, both should've yielded then.
