the first true crime book I read. Bugliosi is fulla shit, but its entertaining all the sameHelter Skelter is what got me into all the gore! I skanked the book from my Moms room when I was like 12 years old and read it, I have been hooked ever since!
Agreed on the Bugliosi part! He gives himself an awful lot of credit! And in his interviews when he says that Manson didn't scare him when he stared him down is Bullshit! You could STILL see the fear in his eyes!
I know! He even alludes to Manson having magical powers in a few instances.
