Not entirely sure how I feel about this. It’s invasive, requires major surgery, and requires immunosuppressants for the woman and thus her baby. I know there are feelings tied up in carrying your own child but with IVF technology and surrogate mothers, adoption, it seems to me this is scientific progress in an unnecessary Frankensteinesque direction.
