I decided to take a break from Iraq and Syria and see what's new in Yemen.

Back in March 2015 the Saudi Arabian government/military answered the request of the Yemini government to help deal with the growing Houthi offensive in the capital (Sana'a) and around the country.

Saudi put together a coalition of countries that could send fighter jets, naval ships and ground troops for the operation.

These countries included Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain with the United States providing intelligence, logistics and rescue operations. Somalia opened it's airspace and waters for the coalition.

This first set deals with a coalition airstrike that allegedly hit a refugee camp for displace Yemenis.

A few Saudi-led coalition fighter jets targeted a bunch of small boats that locals say were occupied by fishermen. The coalition felt differently and deemed that they were transporting arms.

The bodies of a dozen or so men washed ashore but the rest could not be recovered due to hostility in the area. Several men did survive the attack.

Most of these photos out of Yemen are not the greatest quality but a photographer there took some good ones for this incident.

Coalition fighter jets were targeting a water dam and a missile or two landed in the field of a nearby neighborhood where kids were reportedly playing soccer. In total, 8 people (kids, women and a man) were roasted.

Good quality pictures.
Bombs, rockets and board cannons against 'soft targets' left mostly unbeautiful corpses. Would like to know too, what's the reason of the death of these civilians. Bad aiming, collateral damage ot the usual 'kill 'em all' there ?
