In a very predictable move, the Islamic State media wing Al Furqan has released a high production value video depicting the execution of a self confessed Mossad spy. Given that it’s become more and more apparent that ISIS is a Mossad special op, it was only a question of time before they’d attempt to counter the growing awareness the same way they did with James Foley.
In the video, a young man dressed in orange jumpsuit speaks about what lead to his capture by the Islamic State. According to his own words, his name is Muhammad Said Ismail Musallam and he’s a 19 year old Arab who lived in Jerusalem, Palestine. He traveled to Syria via Turkey, after he was recruited by a Jewish neighbor who worked as a police officer, and trained as a spy for Israeli terror agency Mossad.
Despite professional, high definition picture quality, and high end editing, the video once again contains signs of manipulation, including aliasing and moire patterns, which are only present during the moment of execution. We’ve seen the same inconsistencies in previously released execution video also featuring a child soldier (the same kid?).
Apparently, the French man speaking before the execution is one Sabri Essid – a half-brother of Mohammed Merah, who became infamous for allegedly killing 2 soldiers and 5 Jews in Toulouse and Montauban, France, in 2012. Sabri Essid has reportedly been in Syria for over a year.
