As everyone knows goregrish was under a ddos attack last week meaning we were down a few times.
Unfortunately as a result of the ddos we've discovered that the server may have been accessed and a dump of the site data was stolen.
What this means for you the members is that your email address used to sign up may be in the hands of those involved with the hack. Also any attachments anyone has uploaded will be in the hands of the hacker Pm'd pictures included.
Thankfully everyone's passwords are fully encrypted and so those are safe and we don't anticipate anyone losing access to their accounts, but as when any event like this happens, we do advise you change any passwords you use with the same username/email address to be on the safe side.
You can also turn on 2 factor authentication for anything important like bank accounts etc as an extra precaution.
As well as the above the hackers appear to have cloned the website, potentially to trick members into signing in to get their passwords. To avoid this, remember that we only appear on the goregrish.com domain and no others and do not trust any links sent from goregrish-like emails unless you requested it.
Anyone wishing to change their current password can do so via their account settings shown below.
If you change your password you'll receive an email from the site to let you know your password has been changed.
If you have any questions reply in here. No off topic nonsense. Usual rules apply.
