Den Of Thieves 7/10 Decent Hiest movie with Gerard Butlar as a cop and Fiddy Cent as one of the bad guys, the plot takes several silly turns but you don't bother as the action keeps coming and you want to see how it turns out,not brilliant but well watchable with a few beers.

You were never really here.
Directed by Lynn Ramsey, stars Joaquin Phoenix.
Strange, quiet and brooding. A movie that doesn't have gimmicks, CGI or a obvious plot. At the end of this movie i was a little confused but satisfied that i'd watched a film that was not straight forward but was filmed in a very artisic way.
8/10

Flukt. (Escape) 2012. Norway.
Simple plot of young lady kidnapped by robbers, escapes. Chase on foot begins.
The bloke who directed did Tomb Raider, i can see why they imported him to make that movie.
This one has no CGI and keep me interested.
8/10

Hostiles 7/10 Enjoyed this but it could do with a bit more action,it was nice not watching a movie with sirens and machine guns all over the place, the cinematography is really excellent it just looks authentic and is good to just watch. Christian Bale looks right for the part of Indian hating officer and Rosamund Pike is excellent as the grieving Indian hating pioneer woman. White folk and red folk work together and even get to respect each other in the end. Well worth a watch if you want to get away from the modern world for a while.

Submergance 3/10 Basically James Mcavoy and Alicia something or other meet on a French beach and get together,a year later he's held captive by jihadis in a room without windows and she is underwater in a submersible left alone with their thoughts and memories, get it ? They are both isolated in totally different ways, yes sounds exciting doesn't it ? Well it isn't. Way too much moody loud crap music this movie didn't work for me at all.

Dawning Of The Dead 2/10 Hmmmmm British low budget zombie flicks usually have some humour in and that's what this one was lacking, instead we get the most stupid plot holes that make you lose interest, for example 2 guys with lots of zombies about and a gun with 4 bullets, they jump in a car and drive into a car park with only one way in and out, they do donuts and one guy leans out of the car and shoots 4 zombies that are at least 20 metres away from the car,now they have no bullets they drive out the way they came in ? Later one of the same guys is running past lots of zombies and finds a dead cop who has a machine gun at the side of him, result I think but the guy leaves the gun and removes a ring from the dead cops finger ? I think I take this shit too seriously,if anyone knows Paul Lavers who did years on UK shopping TV and now is in a Haribo advert in the train station it's good to hear him shouting fuck and skinny arse.

Thanks to everyone who rates the fims and comments. No point in posting a banner of a film and saying nothing else! Whats all that about??:screwy:

The firm. 5/10. Gary Oldman stars in this story about English fotball hooligans in 1989. Must have been made on a budget and wasn't much to the story. It was worth watching for me though because of all the 80's cars and fashions :tu:
