Just bought 'Hearts of Iron IV' a strategic WW2 game. I had an older part of the series years ago, wasn't easy but good.

Yo, looks interesting, good to know. Played all Silent Hunters but not the botched 5th part. Found a huge community super patch/mod now and will give it a try again.

I bought this games yesterday to play with a couple of friends...
The Division 2 will be avaliable in a couple of days ( i made the preorder ) but i played the Open Beta and its good.
Both are games thats sucks if you play alone, but at the same time are great games to play with friends

Rimworld is funny and has cool mods.
I'll give you more info when at my gaming PC later.
Nazi uniforms, the ability to build fences, an advanced psychology system, more plants for food, fishing... if I remember correctly.
The uniforms are nice but the pawns don't like them and change them all the time.
Using a very good mod for the British Armed Forces at the moment. I really hope they'll create and add the 'Challenger II' tank in the future too.

Yesterday the full version of The Division 2 was released and i started to playing it.
Pro's:
- The IA its just excelent. Unbeteable. When the enemies attack you in groups they make strategies that contrasts with what you are doing, simply excellent.
- A lot of game modes in internet.
- Single player ( campaing mode ) its very good.
- Even if you are in single player, you can ask for help and people who are playing the game can respond to that help. It's like even playing offline you're online.
- Excellent variety of weapons, equipment, etc.
Bad things:
- Although the graphic quality of the objects is excellent, I have fps drops even with a 1080 ... it does not have enough graphics to require so much video. My brother have a GTX 1060 with 6GB and to make the games work at 60 fps he have to set the game in "medium". I saw games with a lot better graphic quality that work much better. Clearly there is a lack of optimization, but it is a game released yesterday (before it was in beta) so it can be improved.
- The deaths are all by shooting or by explosions, you will not be able to kill someone hand to hand (bah...only through blows with the weapon) ... there's no knife...
- The sniper rifles have too much recoil and in contrast to the damage they do become weapons that definitely do not make sense to equip. The fact of needing between two or three of any of the rifles of snipers (SVD, etc) to kill an enemy added to the recoil that they have make them useless. The same goes for the shotguns (ex: spas), the shotgun kill an enemy with only one shot but in a very short distance, but at intermediate distances practically the shotgun is useless (no damage at all). At least it is like that in the first levels .. So you end up always using a machine gun (light, medium or heavy) or semi-automatic rifles. Clearly the game need a weapon balance..
