Most likely homemade tacos. Might need to make a quick grocery run for some lettuce, tomatoes but will make it all the worth while. If not it'll just be the beef, hot sauce, and cheese. Either way ain't losing out...perfect drinking food.

Quick and easy fried chicken

Ingredients
  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • For The Batter:
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  1. Slice the chicken breast into even strips.
  2. In a large bowl, sprinkle the chicken strips with 1 tsp each of paprika, cayenne, garlic powder and salt.
  3. Add 1 egg to the seasoned chicken and mix to coat the chicken with the egg mixture.
  4. To another large bowl, add the 'batter' ingredients and stir to mix.
  5. A few strips at a time, add the sticky chicken strips to the flour bowl and toss to coat completely in flour - repeat until all chicken strips are coated.
  6. Heat oil in a large pan to a medium heat, choose a deep pan - never fry in a shallow pan.
  7. When the oil is hot, add the chicken strips to the oil - I'd recommend you do this in batches to not overcrowd the pan and give yourself enough time to turn the chicken when needed.
  8. Turn the chicken after cooking for 5/6 minutes, and allow to cook on the other side for a further 5/6 minutes - until the coating is brown and the chicken is cooked through
What it should look like.
