Would be possible. It's mostly made of brass, even the barrel. I did 3 shots and looked everything up with a 10x magnifier and discovered an older hair crack in the threatened barrel. Wasn't made for LR, I think, maybe for .22 short or the material was shit.
I found it in an old man's toolbox, we demolished his house in the '90s. I'd show you but I've no clue where it is now.
