What's on the menu tonight?

bought two 7 " old cast iron pans...(I was high at the time ) bid...16 dollars ) USA. on Ebay.....was gonna hang them up in kitchen for ambience ..bought 2 filet mignons instead ...did up for Easter ...used both pans at the same time b'cos when I bid I thought they'd be deeper.......oh well they worked out quite well with some Bob Evans mashed taters and lima beans...all good ...That was Easter dinner although Mrs.West substituted the Lima beans for some broccoli

The start

Added some bacon and slow cooked all day yesterday.
Day 2 is always better and leaves room for adjustments and add ins.
So today I decided to forget the rice, gonna do mashed taters AND...

...venison.
Just gonna leave that rub sit for a bit, add some of the broth from the pot, toss it the oven at 275, let it cook low and sloooooow.

Garlic, onion mashed spuds. Venison seasoned with stuff, beans n' stuff.
Quick grilled lettuce wedges, maters, lil fried parm for crunch.
