I also wanted to buy an overkill with much more weight first. a friend told me not to exaggerate :lulz: If you anchor this thing in a wall its save enough.
yeah that extra weight got me too so i'm gonna dynabolt mine to a concrete slab it aint going nowhere lol... honestly it doesn't matter how heavy your safe is if you can tip it over it's finished, dat leverage yo

Do the cops check the safe at your home in Austria/Australia? And looking at the windows and house doors if they're burglar-proof?
yes, they check the firearms storage conditions every 5 years.

the door/window safety doesn't matter very much in reality. we dont have restrictive laws in this case. the law only states that it has to be safe and it must not be possible to take them away or to use them for people that arent allowed to.

every 5 years

Don't know all the latest changes to our gun laws but so far I know it's planned or even already introduced to recheck your license every 5 years; especially the license to carry a gun outside of your property. If there's still a need/reason for that, the government has the opinion you should call the cops when you're in real danger. :<_>:
I'm not so well informed about all the laws because my stuff was always illegal and I didn't care. But my uncle was hunter/ranger and he has the Waffen Journal abonnement since the '70s and I got the magazine as soon as he'd read it. It has gun law information too; I have to visit him one day again.
